ACCIONS 3E is a Spanish non-profit cultural association that promotes environmental education, engagement and awareness through cinema, audiovisual creation and new technologies.

The organisation creates cultural projects and meeting spaces that connect generations, territories and different areas of society. Through culture and entertainment, ACCIONS 3E brings the defining environmental, social and human challenges of our time closer to the public and encourages a more conscious relationship with our shared planet.

ACCIONS 3E brings together professionals with extensive experience in the audiovisual and environmental sectors. The team produces content, develops educational projects and builds partnerships with public and private institutions at local, national and international levels.

ACCIONS 3E leads the SUNCINE ecosystem

Since 1993, ACCIONS 3E has created, organised and developed SUNCINE, a cultural and educational ecosystem that uses cinema and audiovisual storytelling to bring today’s major environmental, social and human challenges closer to society.

SUNCINE is now one of the world’s longest-running environmental film festivals and a recognised platform for filmmakers, institutions, environmental organisations, audiovisual professionals, educators and audiences of every age.

The International Environmental Film Festival lies at the heart of this project. It is the annual meeting point where stories reach the screen, engage with audiences and inspire new perspectives on the planet.

A year-round ecosystem

The work of ACCIONS 3E extends far beyond the days of the Festival. The SUNCINE footprint continues throughout the year through:

• SUNCINE – International Environmental Film Festival.

• Every Classroom a Cinema, our environmental education programme based on audiovisual storytelling.

• SUNCINE travelling showcases in Spain and internationally.
