Coincidiendo con el inicio de la COP30 del Convenio de las Naciones Unidas sobre el Cambio Climático en Belém, Brasil, el Festival Internacional de Cine del Medio Ambiente – SUNCINE amplía su alcance y da comienzo a su programación online multipantalla.

El jurado del SUNCINE, Festival Internacional de Cine del Medio Ambiente, ha decidido por unanimidad otorgar el Sol de Oro de su 32ª edición a Yanuni, una película dirigida por Richard Ladkani y coproducida por Leonardo DiCaprio. Fibra Sensible ha recibido el Sol de Oro de la sección Ñ. Chasing Time ha sido el ganador de la sección Miradas y el Premio Monarca ha recaído en el documental británico Radio Dadaab y el norteamericano de animación Cavern.

Today, the 32nd edition of the world’s oldest environmental film festival was inaugurated at CaixaForum Barcelona. SUNCINE opens its doors with the screening of the film “KAZA. The Last Refuge of Elephants”, a documentary by journalist and filmmaker Xavier Aldekoa.

The SUNCINE Channel on CaixaForum+ launches new programming this June 27, featuring 10 films from the latest edition of the Festival, including the Golden Sun winner for Best Documentary: Patrol, and the series A New World by French director and writer Cyril Dion, who was honored with the Special Golden Sun at the most recent edition of SUNCINE.
