This special session aims to keep alive the spirit and commitment of Dani Fernández to protecting biodiversity, promoting environmental awareness and involving society in nature conservation.
As part of the session, SUNCINE will present the Dani Fernández Award to an association or organisation whose work stands out for its contribution to biodiversity and the preservation of ecosystems.
The session will also feature the world premiere of Tasting the Forest, a film that takes us into the Amazon not only as one of the planet’s great reservoirs of biodiversity, but as a living territory sustained by the knowledge, practices and commitment of the communities that call it home.
Cinema and biodiversity come together in a shared story that reflects the spirit that guided Dani Fernández throughout his life: to know nature, explain it, love it and act to protect it
