CLOSING NIGTH + AWARDS in Calafell

On 14 November at 7:00 pm, at the Teatre Joan Colet in Calafell, SUNCINE will close ts 33rd edition with the official Spanish premiere of The Lake, a Leonardo DiCaprio Production.

Directed by Abby Ellis, the film takes us to the Great Salt Lake to tell the story of an environmental crisis through the people who live it, study it and fight to prevent the lake from disappearing.

A story about the relationship between nature and society, the consequences of inaction and people’s ability to drive change.

A film that captures much of the essence of SUNCINE and invites us to close the Festival looking towards the future: cinema can explain what is happening, but it can also help us imagine what we can do to change it
