THE MARINA ROAD

A dissection of the territorial collapse based on the first transhumance from the Pyrenees to the sea in more than seventy years along the recently recovered Marina Livestock Trail.

A “road movie” at the pace of a horse that puts us before the design and management of the territory of Catalonia - and by extension of the entire Mediterranean -, taking into account the biological flows of wild fauna, the situation of the forests, the disasters of the Great Forest Fires, agricultural and livestock intensification, the state of water and biodiversity.

We accompany the procession during the ten days and nights of the journey. From the high mountains to the beach, passing through all types of landscapes, towns and cities.

A deep reflection on how we would have to manage the territory to build an economically and environmentally sustainable country or one that, finally, collapses.
