NATURE CONSERVATION CONFERENCE (Seu Urgell)

Understanding nature is the first step towards protecting it.

With this spirit, the Nature Conservation Conference was launched in La Seu d’Urgell in 2022: a meeting place where knowledge, territory and society come together to explore the major environmental challenges of our time.

The Conference brings together science, environmental management, outreach and citizens to share experiences, compare perspectives and raise new questions about the relationship between people and the ecosystems we inhabit.

From the Pyrenees, the territory becomes a starting point for discussing biodiversity, conservation, change, responsibility and the future. Because conservation is not only about preserving what we have, but also about understanding its value, listening to the land and building new ways of living alongside nature.
