We live surrounded by waste. Some of it is visible; some disappears from sight the moment we throw it away. But all of it leaves a footprint.

SUB Waste invites us to look beyond the bin and discover what lies beneath our consumption habits: the resources we use, the products we discard, the materials that can be given a second life, and the environmental consequences of a model based on producing, consuming and throwing away.

SUNCINE has created a collection of films dedicated to waste, approaching this reality through different stories, perspectives and territories.

Plastics, waste, recycling, reuse, the circular economy, pollution and new models of consumption come together in a cinematic journey that seeks not only to reveal a problem, but also to inspire new ways of thinking about what we consume and what we leave behind.

Because waste does not disappear when we throw it away.
