For over a decade, five southern African nations have worked together to create Kaza, the world’s largest cross-border wildlife reserve —an area the size of Spain. The inclusion of the unexplored southern region of Angola, one of the most pristine and untouched places on the continent, marks a turning point in environmental conservation. “It’s like being in the Maasai Mara or the Serengeti 120 years ago,” experts say. In this documentary, journalist Xavier Aldekoa, with 25 years of experience on the African continent, travels to one of the planet’s last remaining paradises in search of the elephants’ final Eden.
