The film narrates the standpoint of Cameron, a young student who was born and raised on the unique island of Tangier, and his devotion to his island birthplace. In the middle of Chesapeake Bay, in the State of Virginia (USA), Tangier and its inhabitants have been classified as the first potential climate change refugees due to the island’s constant erosion, which is causing them to lose part of their territory rapidly.
